The Ipswich Voice to Parliament forum, held on Wednesday, 26th July, at UniSQ Ipswich, proved to be a resounding success, attracting an impressive turnout of more than 150 participants. The event featured esteemed speakers, including Noel Pearson, Sallyanne Atkinson AO, and Lance McCallum MP, and was expertly hosted by MC Rachel Bos.

The forum provided an opportunity for advocates of Yes23 to share their perspectives and insights, contributing to the overall enriching experience of the attendees.

The Ipswich Voice to Parliament forum served as a valuable platform for fostering meaningful dialogue and engagement within the community. Attendees left with a better understanding of the proposed body's role and how it would interact with the government.

“Simplicity was the key focus of the event, ensuring that people understood the proposed body's role without ambiguity. We emphasized that this body would not hold power over the government, promoting transparency and clarity” said Jennifer Howard, Member for Ipswich.

"I commend MC Rachel Bos for skillfully guiding the event and maintaining an atmosphere of inclusivity and respect. The forum's success is a testament to the collaborative efforts of everyone involved."
